He gra­du­ated with ho­no­urs in law at the Ja­giel­lo­nian Uni­ver­si­ty in Kra­ków. He wro­te his ma­ste­r’s the­sis, de­di­ca­ted to pe­nal law aspects of the in­sti­tu­tion of crown wit­ness, un­der the su­per­vi­sion of Zbi­gniew Ćwią­kal­ski, PhD, at the De­part­ment of Sub­stan­ti­ve Cri­mi­nal Law, Ja­giel­lo­nian Uni­ver­si­ty. He ga­ined his pro­fes­sio­nal expe­rien­ce as an in­tern at co­urts and pro­se­cu­tor­s’ of­fi­ces, and then du­ring a year and a half at one of War­sa­w’s most re­spec­ted law firms, whe­re he wor­ked as a la­wy­er in the Pro­ce­du­ral De­part­ment.
Nor­bert Frosz­tę­ga spe­cia­li­ses in ban­krupt­cy and re­struc­tu­ring law as well as in ci­vil pro­ce­edings. He has co­-au­tho­red aca­de­mic ar­tic­les di­scus­sing ban­krupt­cy and re­struc­tu­ring pro­ce­edings and ge­ne­ral bu­si­ness law. He is in­te­re­sted in is­su­es re­la­ting to the law of com­mer­cial com­pa­nies, in par­ti­cu­lar the so­-cal­led ‘sim­pli­fied li­qu­ida­tio­n’.
